Government Assures Recruitment of PET & PD Posts

Government Whip Advisor Shri Birla Ilaiah assured that in the upcoming DSC Notification, the cabinet will discuss recruitment of 1,500 vacant PET & PD posts so every school has qualified Physical Education staff.

Shri Ilaiah praised the Sports Students Federation’s initiatives, calling them a reflection of great social responsibility and an inspiring journey.

SSF leaders met Telangana Sports Advisor Shri Jitender Reddy and submitted a representation emphasizing that for the sports policy to succeed, PETs & PDs must be appointed at the grassroots level (primary schools, colleges, and universities).

A representation was also given to Education Commission Chairman Shri Akunuri Murali, stressing that:

Every government and private school must have a PET and a playground.

Vacant PET & PD posts must be filled immediately in the upcoming DSC.
